At the Island
One of the highlights of my R&R was spending Thanksgiving with some of my
favorite people in the gorgeous Island of Toronto on a spectacular day. It was the perfect plan with little preparation and no fuss at all. We got on the 9:30 am ferry, took the little ones to the park, then strolled around the farm, found the perfect spot for a picnic where we ate aged cheeses and crackers, grapes, strawberries, sandwiches and cupcakes for dessert, and then took the kids to the swings. By 2 pm we were home, exhausted but relaxed at the same time. The day couldn't have been more perfect.
