Obsession File: Contrasting with chambray

Let's begin the week with an obsession. I'm so in love with these looks, aren't they a fantastic contrast? All you need is a Chambray shirt (like this one) to pair it with a pretty pair of lace shorts, a patterned pleated skirt, a dazzling pencil skirt, or just a solid girly short skirt. Easy right? I'm also loving this.

Obsession File: Give me a penny

Besides Oxfords I have a slight obsession with Penny Loafers, anyone else? I got these ones in a Moss color, they have a subtle shimmer and they are really super super comfortable (and much more prettier in person) but now I want a black pair. Loving ALL the black ones above, would be happy with any of those!

Obsession File: Motorcycle Boots

Even though I won't get to use them for more than a couple of weeks, I've been looking for the perfect pair of motorcycle boots. I think they add the perfect touch of roughness to any look so If you want to balance out an otherwise overly-ladylike look I recommend you go with these.

After a week of online hunting for the "perfect pair" I think both number 4 and 5 please my "standards" in every way, I'm in love with them and still can't decide which I should get (but I still got plenty of time to decide).

Obsession File: To Do lists

One, Two

Well, what a better way to start the week than with a To Do list! I make lists ALL the time: lists for groceries, for To Do's, for packing, for posts that I have to do, posts that I have to upload, lists of ideas, and I can go on and on about all the lists I'm constantly making. I swear I can't function without a list, I need to visualize on paper all the tasks that I must do, it gives me some structure and is the only way I can organize my day, how about you? Are you a To Do lister? And aren't these sheets above adorable? I know I would make great use of them!

PS: Hope you had great weekend! I ran a 10k race on Saturday and came on 3rd at 49:13 not bad for no speed training huh? :)

I'm loving these cuffs by Thief & Bandit. The fabrics are so gorgeous, don't you think? And I also love this Navajo print tank, it would look so pretty with some colored skinny jeans or tucked in a full skirt with a belt.

I'm totally in love with Calypso St. Barth's beach bags. I couldn't pick just one, love them all. And, since we go to the beach very often, I could have some good use of them ;)

By the way, has anyone checked out yet Calypso St. Barth for Target collection? It just launched yesterday, so if you haven't yet you can take a peak online ;)

Obsession File: The Doctor

Ok, I know these are not the most fashion forward sandals out there, but to be honest with you, I'm obsessed with these Dr. Scholl's. I'm loving the modern twist on their sandals. Back in my teen days I used to wear my mom's Dr. Scholl's at home (yeap these ugly ones), I can't explain why, I just did, and after seeing what they have done to make them current I'm just counting my days for our R&R so I can get a pair (or two?).

Because I like to be organized I have a huge obsession with pouches and cosmetics cases. And because we move a lot I like to store my hair accessories, iPods, manicure set, pedicure set, cosmetics, and all those sort of things into small pouches. It's easier for me to have it all "classified" in little pouches, so whenever I have to unpack I just store my pouches in drawers and immediately know everything is organized in one place. I would say it just makes my life a little bit easier knowing where everything is, and knowing that everything is ready to go whenever I have to pack.  

Right now I have a couple of cases that could be replaced and any of these ones (ok, all of them!) would make me very happy. If I had to pick one, I would pick them all ;)

The last time that I posted about an animal obsession was when I was liking owls very much (here), and during that time there was an Owl related movie and one of those Harry Potter movies showing. But this time, even though Water for Elephants is coming soon,  I had no idea about it until a day ago (If you google where I'm currently living you'll understand why), so I guess my theory of subconscious media power doesn't always apply ;)
