Aren't these scarves gorgeous? The grey chevron one got me at first sight, and the black & white would look so beautiful against a colored top, perhaps a red or fuchsia dress? They are designed by two talented textile designers who work in Montreal and you can find more about it (and shop!) right here.

I just found these screen printed bags on Etsy from Pretty Penny and I think they would be perfect to take to the beach or to the local market to get fruits, veggies and bread, don't you think?

Great Finds File: Nelle

While going through my bookmarks folder I found Nelle. I remember when I added Nelle to my favorite shops in Etsy but somehow forgot about it later.

Nelle is a company owned by Laura Nelli who produces accessories at her studio in Minneapolis. What I find fascinating about her collection is (besides that every piece is beautiful) the fact that she taught herself how to make and sew every piece from scratch! And today, Nelle is a nationally recognized company with more than 30 stores in the States! That's what I call determination!

PS: So happy that Blogger got it's act together, though I was not happy to see that my last post was removed. Anyway, at least it wasn't deleted.

Great finds file: the Ballerina

I'm loving these rubber ballerinas from J.Crew. Aren't they fantastic? A great alternative for rainy days, don't you think? And without compromising style ;) I also have my eye on these and these (the last one would be perfect for gardening) from Hunter. Have a nice weekend! We are heading down to Noumea to get some shopping done :)

Great finds file: West Elm Kitchen

Have you seen the new kitchen products from West Elm? Oh! I can't tell you how much I wish I was still in Toronto, you see, West Elm was just a 20 min walk from my place and Matthew and I used to go all the time. Not only the staff is very nice,  the store is very stroller friendly too ;) So if you happen to get a chance to take a peak at these products, what are you waiting for? Go for me!!
